Miller said English texted her that she was having someone take her to get her ID because she did not have it with her at the time. Miller said she texted back wishing her a happy Mother's Day—and has not heard from her since. Heidi reported English missing after she noticed neither she nor her brothers had seen or spoken to their mother in weeks. English was a friend of Lindsay Bogan, whose body was found buried in a field in Madison Township, Ohio in July 2016, after she had been missing for months. English had assisted the police with the investigation into Bogan's disappearance.
Additional Details:
Investigators believe she was killed in the basement of a home on Woodlawn Avenue in Middleton. English was intimate with the brother of one of the main suspects in the Bogan case. Flack and English knew each other, all four women had transient lifestyles and were involved with drug use and sex work, and all of them frequented the same area near Manchester Avenue and Central Avenue in Middletown. Since her disappearance, three other women in Middletown have disappeared: Amber Flack in September 2016, Melinda Miller in February 2017, and Michelle Burgan in May 2017; Michelle Burgan's body was found in September 2018. Her children described their mother in glowing terms: "beautiful," "funny," "outgoing." "She had this goofy personality, and she was always laughing." Heidi's daughter, born after her mother's disappearance, was named Brandy in her honor.
