Jerry was driving on Interstate 5 while allegedly under the influence of marijuana and alcohol. Authorities say he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to flip. Joy who was a passenger in the vehicle was ejected and killed. This occurred on March 17, 2017. Denson was arrested and failed to appear for his trial. A warrant was issued for his arrest on October 5, 2017.
