Juan and Marco were among the attendees at a party when several people started fighting. Marco was trying to defend someone involved in the fight. Juan then allegedly shot Marco to death and shot and wounded a second victim. Juan went on the run and still has an active warrant, according to Washington’s Odyssey court records database. Juan reportedly has ties outside the United States, but no further details were given. Despite Juan’s age, he was already a gang member who had been convicted of robbery, and was a suspect in other drug, theft and robbery cases. Juan is being charged as an adult in connection with Marco’s homicide.
