Summary:

Miguel Angel Resendez is wanted for the homicide of 21-year-old Oscar Reyes.

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Offense:

Authorities say that Oscar and his pregnant wife were driving when their car began to have problems. Oscar could not get their car off the road. Miguel who was driving his SUV behind Oscar got impatient and began ramming the rear of Oscar’s car. Both Miguel and Oscar got out of their respective vehicles and an argument started. That is when Miguel allegedly shot Oscar to death in front of his wife. Miguel fled the scene and another motorist ran over Oscar’s body before also fleeing the scene (it is not clear if the other motorist was ever identified). As of this posting, Harris County’s court records database confirms that Miguel has an active homicide warrant and is not currently in custody. Miguel is a US citizen but is originally from Mexico, which is most likely where he fled to.

Additional Details:

Anyone with information on Miguel’s whereabouts should contact Crime Stoppers Of Houston at 713-222-TIPS (8477). Miguel should be considered very dangerous. Please consider sharing this so that Oscar’s family, especially his wife can get justice and answers in their loved one’s case. It is also very unfortunate that Oscar’s child never had the opportunity to meet their biological father.
