Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Death:

Andy Turner, Heather's husband, heard a noise around 5:30 in the morning and found his wife dead in the bathroom with a single gunshot wound to the head. Though it was described as an "apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound," Heather's death not yet been ruled a suicide. The couples 8 year old daughter was also in the home. Andy Turner has not been listed as an official suspect in Heather's death, but his immediate actions were called into question — most significantly the time lapse from when he heard the gunshot to when he called 911. Turner initially claimed to have discovered his wife at 5:30 a.m., yet did not make a call to 911 until 6:00 a.m.

Additional Details:

As Heather Turner's death remains under investigation, Andy is now being accused of physical abuse and sexual assault — including rape — by his former nanny and girlfriend, 27-year-old Christy Chupp.
