Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Disappearance:

On December 13, 2017, 37-year-old Alberto Arias-Nunez departed from his home in Cypress, Texas, with the intention of purchasing a vehicle in Tyler, Texas. He informed his wife, Bianca, of his plans and assured her he would return that evening. Alberto's journey to Tyler was to meet a friend who owned a body shop and to inspect a 2005 white Ford Expedition he was considering buying. After arriving in Tyler, he contacted Bianca to confirm his arrival. According to his wife, the last time she had communication with him was at 10:33 A.M. that day he went missing. She said the friend he went to meet reports meeting up and going to lunch with Arias-Nunez before getting on the road to travel back to Cypress. Arias-Nunez vehicle was found on December 17 in the parking lot of the Catvish Village in Waskom, east of Tyler. The SUV was unlocked, and Alberto's phone, wallet, and keys were missing. There were no immediate signs of foul play at the scene, adding to the perplexity of the situation.

Additional Details:

Bianca said when she couldn't reach him, she called police to report him missing. Currently, police do not suspect foul play. However, this case is still under investigation. Bianca Arias, along with family members and church community supporters, traveled to East Texas to search for Alberto. They distributed flyers and spoke with locals in hopes of uncovering any information about his whereabouts. Arias-Nunez is an active member in church and a loving and devoted father to their two sons, 6 and 3-years-old, and to their 7-month-old daughter. Bianca says her family is very involved with the local church community and that they are receiving well wishes and prayers on behalf of their missing husband and dad.
