Circumstances of Offense:
Authorities allege that Kavonte took part in a home invasion and robbery. One of Kavonte’s co-defendants shot Hunter to death during the crime. The home invaders left behind the shotgun used in the crime, and DNA evidence, tips and interviews led to charges being filed. In November of 2023, the shooter received a sentence of 20 years. Another co-defendant pleaded guilty and received a sentence of 13 years. Kavonte is aware that he has been wanted since November of 2022 and has refused to turn himself in. As of this posting, Washington’s Odyssey court records portal confirms he has an active warrant.
