Summary:

Vital Statistics
Circumstances of Disappearance:
On July 11, 2018, Brooke was last seen when she was getting her hair and nails done at a salon in Newark, Arkansas. She disappeared while driving from Newport to Searcy after her car got a flat tire. A passerby attempted to use a can of "fix-a-flat" to get the car going again but the fix did not last. Brooke then pulled off the roadway and under a rural bridge near a boat ramp on White River. Brooke's father reported her missing on July 26 to the Searcy County Police Department. On July 27, 2018, Brooke Allensworth's vehicle, black 2007 Toyota Camry, was found abandoned at Highway 122 near the White River Access in Oil Trough, Arkansas. The car doors were locked with her cellular phone and cigarettes found inside, but her keys were missing.
Additional Details:
In 2012, Brooke Allensworth graduated from the University of Arkansas Community College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing. Brooke was divorced and is a single mother of three children. At the time of her disappearance, Brooke was living in an apartment on Roundabout Circle in Searcy, Arkansas and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Newark Medical Clinic. According to her father, Brooke was last seen in the Newark and Newport areas on July 10 and possibly in Searcy on July 12, after she allegedly had a disagreement with her ex-husband Brad Durham. A 2020 report from Today in Fort Smith mentioned that authorities questioned an individual named Quake Lewellyn in connection to Brooke's case, but no charges or formal connections have been confirmed. Initial efforts included ground searches, aerial sweeps, and the use of cadaver dogs, but no significant evidence emerged. A search warrant was executed on Brooke's vehicle to analyze its contents, yet it yielded no definitive clues. On December 22, 2022, an underwater search and recovery dive team called Adventures with Purpose decided to act on a tip and they searched Four Ponds in Jackson County and Bergen Lake to see if Brooke Allensworth was in a barrel. According to a video found, their search used high tech gear, like infrared sonar. Unfortunately, nothing turned up in their search. As of 2023, the DNA results came back. Some of the prints were from Brooke, some of them were other people (unnamed), but no suspects were pulled from the batch taken from Brooke's car. A Facebook page, "Justice For Brooke Allensworth," maintains awareness and shares updates. Volunteer groups, including Adventures with Purpose and Jo-Jo's for Justice, have contributed to search efforts in recent years.
