On that same date at approximately 10:49 p.m., ATM video footage showed Michael alone in his vehicle at Texas American Bank. The video showed him leaving the bank and heading back towards the American Inn Motel in Mount Vernon, where he was staying. When officers investigated following the missing persons report filed on June 20, 2018, they located Michael's vehicle and keys at the American Inn motel. His father reported it was unusual for Michael to have no contact with his family.
