On March 03, 2019, at approximately 10:32 pm, Dallas Police responded to a health and welfare check in the 3400 block of Keyridge Drive. When officers arrived, they found Prater dead inside the home due to homicidal violence.

Sheila’s son said he had proof that Victor did it only to find out on the trial stand that Sheila’s son was not telling the truth on how he found out about his moms passing nor was he truthful about text messages that he had claim to had received from Victor the night of Sheila’s homicide .
