Alwin Albright, 74, was last seen walking away from his home in Gilmer, Texas on July 6, 2019. He allegedly tried to force his way into his girlfriend's apartment, she called police, and when officers arrived at the complex, he walked off. He remains missing.

Circumstances of Disappearance:
Police were notified of the missing person on Thursday, July 11, and he was last seen on Saturday, July 6 at the Gates Apartments, located at 700 East Scott Street in Gilmer. He'd had a dispute with a neighbor and was last seen walking away from his home. On July 6, 2019, Alwin allegedly tried to force his way into his girlfriend's apartment. She called the police. When they showed up at the complex, Alwin walked off. He was headed in the direction of downtown.
Additional Details:
Albright took medications for unspecified medical problems; these were left behind and he may be in need of medical attention. Family members say Albright has heart problems and they are concerned for his safety. His car is still at his home, but he has not been seen nor heard from. Upshur County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the location of the missing man.
