Summary:
Meagan Gonzales was last seen on Nov. 11th, 2019 before her body was found burned and decomposing in a field in Southwest Bexar County, TX on Dec. 3rd in the 12000 block of Wisdom Road in Atascosa, TX. She was reported missing on Nov. 15th by family and suspicious circumstances are being considered involving her initial disappearance, according to Crime Stoppers.

Meagan's father Eddie last saw his daughter on November 10th, 2019 after Meagan left home. Her father says the next day he got a text message from Meagan however, he says he believes it was not Meagan texting, and she was being held against her will. He contacted police, but they didn't think she was missing and finally after contacting them a 3rd time - after a week went by - they finally filed a missing persons report. Her body was found in a field by a farmer almost three weeks later in far Southwest Bexar county off Wisdom road. She was burned beyond recognition. She had to be identified through dental records.
Additional Details:
Investigators found Meagan's truck abandoned at an apartment complex the day before her body was discovered. Investigators with the San Antonio Police Department were originally handling the search for Gonzales, but BCSO deputies discovered the remains and have reportedly taken over this case.
