Bailey Simon (3) was critically injured along with her mother in their home in Conway, SC. Her mom died on scene and the 3 year died two days later at the hospital from her injuries.

Officers responded to the 1600 block of Suggs Street around 7:30 p.m. for shots fired call with injuries, City of Conway Public Information Officer, June Wood said.
Additional Details:
Prior to her death, Tasjunique was serving in the South Carolina National Guard as a truck driver and was also working in the nursing field. On top of that, she was raising her daughter Bailey. Loved ones of the mother-daughter duo described the pair as happy and kind. Tasjunique was known as a generous young woman and was not known to have any enemies. A motive for the killings remains unknown.
