Gerson Perez-Gil, 18, is wanted for the murder in the second degree of 19-year-old Isaiah J. Maza, Jr., who was stabbed to death on January 31, 2021 in Northeast Portland, Oregon. The stabbing occurred in the 100 block of Northeast 120th Avenue.

Circumstances of Offense:

On January 31, 2021, at approximately 5:30 p.m., officers from the East Precinct responded to a call of a stabbing in the 100 block of Northeast 120th Avenue. Maza had been barbequing with family when he decided to walk to a nearby convenience store to buy some chips. When officers arrived they found Isaiah Jason Maza Jr. with a stab wound. Maza died at the scene.

Additional Details:

In August 2021, PPB Homicide Detectives, with the assistance of the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office, obtained an arrest warrant for 18-year-old Gerson Perez-Gil for the crime of Murder in the Second Degree. Crime Stoppers is offering a $2500 reward for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
