Summary:
Amarion Cornelius is wanted for the homicide of 14-year-old Gabriel Williams.
Vital Statistics
Circumstances of Offense:
Gabriel had left a football game and was dropped off at a gas station. Another car drove into the gas station and Gabriel raised his hands into the air. The car drove past Gabriel and the occupants fired gunshots, striking and killing Gabriel. The following month, Amarion was brought in for questioning and he denied any involvement in Gabriel's homicide. The investigation by authorities led them to the gun and the car used in the homicide. Cellphone records linked their three suspects to the area where Gabriel was killed. A co-defendant in this case has since received a sentence of 16 years in prison for voluntary manslaughter and armed criminal action. As of 2024, a second co-defendant is facing federal charges in connection with this case. Missouri's court records database shows that a warrant was prepared for Amarion's arrest on May 26, 2022. Amarion was profiled on the February 2025 edition of Kansas City’s Most Wanted. This confirms that he is still wanted for his alleged involvement in Gabriel’s homicide.
Additional Details:
Anyone with information on Amarion’s whereabouts should contact Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers at 816-474-8477. Please consider sharing this so that Gabriel’s family can get justice and answers in their loved one’s case. Amarion should be considered extremely dangerous.
