Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Disappearance:

Marcus Daniel Rodriguez (21) was last seen on December 23rd, 2021 at the Palomar Apartment complex at 5872 Old Jacksonville Highway next to the Braum’s. He was last seen wearing a dark blue colored t-shirt with an orange and white polo graphic on the front, blue jean shorts, black slides with a red polo emblem on top, white socks, and a gold pendant necklace. Prior, he was at Fuzzy’s Tacos on Troup Highway with friends when they were approached and invited to a party at the Palomar Apartments. He then left Fuzzy’s to go to the party along with two other friends (another friend decided not go to the party and went home) where he was last seen. His friends left the party, but Marcus returned to the apartment to retrieve his car keys. However, nobody answered the door, and he was unable to get his keys (his keys were later found under the kitchen island in the apartment). Marcus texted his dad at 1:00 am telling him he would be home soon. His last text was to his friend at 2:47 am who had left the party when Marcus returned to the apartment to locate his keys. His friend texted him next at 8:30 am with no return text from Marcus. His phone was later found next to the dumpster near the building where the party was located. Initially, it was thought his car had been vandalized, but it was later discovered that Marcus had an accident a few days prior that had dented the side of his car. The last person to see Marcus was an individual who lived at the complex leaving the apartments to go to Taco Bell that reported seeing him on the phone and stumbling between 3:00-3:30 am. Marcus has a tattoo on his forearm that says Blessed and one on each side of his neck, Annsleigh and Ayden. If you know where Marcus is or what happened to him, please contact Tyler PD Detective Molina at 903-531-1097 or Crimestoppers anonymously at 903-597-2833.
