Larkin left to go hunting at the Exotic Cat Refuge near Kirbyville, TX and was reported missing by his mom after he failed to return home. Searches have been conducted for over a year and Larkin has not been heard from since.

Circumstances of Disappearance:

On Thursday morning (November 17, 2022) around 0900hrs, Larkin left the home of his mother in Kirbyville, TX to go hunting in Call, TX. Later in the day, Larkin’s mother noticed that her son did not return home from hunting. The next day, a friend spoke with the mom and asked if she had seen Larkin because his vehicle was still parked where he was hunting, at the Exotic Cat Refuge. On Saturday, November 19, 2022, Larkin was reported missing to the Newton County Sheriff’s office and the investigation started.

Additional Details:

Many searches involving cadaver and bloodhound dogs were conducted on the property around where Larkin’s car was found. NCSO advised they had interviewed all individuals who were reported as being at the Exotic Cat Refuge at the time Larkin was last seen. There are individuals who know exactly what happened surrounding Mr. Larkin’s disappearance," says Sheriff Burby. "We ask that you come forward with what you know. At this point, I can assure you that if you need to come in and correct any information that you have already provided to us, now is the time to do so. This is not a cold case
