Summary:
Corey Williams was last seen by friends/acquaintances in Gilmer (Upshur County), Texas on July 27th, 2022 at approx. midnight when he left in his friends house. On July 28th, 2022, Williams's vehicle was located abandoned 5 miles from the friend's house -off Azalea Rd and TX 154 just east of Gilmer -with the ignition gutted. He has not been seen since.

Circumstances of Disappearance:
His car, a 1995 white Mercury Cougar, was found off Azalea Road near Texas 154 east of Gilmer. The UCSO says they've flown several drone missions with heat sensing equipment over the area where the car was located. In addition, K9 officers and private cadaver dogs participated in the search. A mounted search team from the Sit ‘Em Down Cowboy Church in Big Sandy, volunteered their services, but didn't find any further evidence.
Additional Details:
The sheriff’s office has used drones to search for Williams along with K-9 officers however, called the search off & turned away other search parties trying to find Mr. Williams for unknown reasons.
