35-year-old Kayla Decker was last seen in Bowling Green, Kentucky on December 16, 2022. On December 16, 2022, Kayla Decker attended a little league basketball game at 225 East 3rd Avenue in Bowling Green, Kentucky. It was initially believed the basketball game was the last sighting of her, however investigators later determined she was last seen at a church in the area. On December 18, 2022, Decker’s last phone activity was at her residence on Old Bee Spring Road in Bee Spring, Kentucky. On June 14, 2023, a concerned social worker filed a missing persons case with the Kentucky State Police when they couldn’t contact her. Kayla wasn’t reported missing to authorities until she had been gone nearly six months.

Circumstances of Disappearance:
At the time of her disappearance, Kayla Decker was living on Old Bee Spring Road in Bee Spring, Kentucky. She was suffering from Lupus, an autoimmune disease in which the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks the body’s healthy cells. Her husband, 38 year old Dearl (Dearyl) Dwight Decker, is believed to have been the last person to see her. At the time of Kayla’s disappearance he had an ongoing criminal case against him for domestic violence, which had led to the couple’s three children being put into foster care.
Additional Details:
She is the mother of three young boys. Described as outgoing, Decker made friends easily and had a large group of friends, however she did not have a close relationship with her family. Kayla Decker lived a transient lifestyle and was known to move from place to place, making it difficult to track her whereabouts. She left her medication and cane behind at home.
