Missing From:

Tyler, Texas

Summary:

Jason Charles is wanted for the vehicular homicide of 17-year-old Lilly Thornburgh.

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Offense:

Authorities allege that Jason had drank six cocktails before getting into his pickup truck and started driving. He then allegedly struck the back of Lilly’s pickup truck, causing it to roll over and pinning Lilly inside the cab. Lilly would tragically later die from her injuries. Jason was charged with intoxication manslaughter and a jury trial was scheduled for June 20, 2023. He failed to appear and a warrant was issued for his arrest. As of this posting, Jason’s intoxicated manslaughter case in Smith County’s court records database is in filed status with no filings after he failed to appear for his trial (except for a supplemental discovery form). This confirms that he is unfortunately still at large.

Additional Details:

Anyone with information on Jason’s whereabouts should contact the Tyler Police Department at (903) 531-1090. Jason should be considered extremely dangerous. Please consider sharing this case so that Lilly’s family can get justice and answers.
