Summary:

Cesar Rosales is wanted for the capital murders of 20-year-old Adrian Martinez and 18-year-old Paulina Vega-Yanez.

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Offense:

Authorities say that three suspects drove up to Adrian’s pickup truck which was parked in a school parking lot. The suspects went up to the driver’s side door and shot Adrian to death. The suspects then escorted Paulina from Adrian’s truck to their vehicle and fled. Paulina was later found deceased from a gunshot wound. On March 26, 2025, authorities identified Cesar as one of the three alleged suspects and issued a capital murder warrant for his arrest. The motive for this crime might have been a botched robbery. Authorities are also seeking the identification of the other two suspects in this case. Both of them are believed to be Hispanic males. One of them was described at the time as 16 to 18 years of age, with medium build and was about 5 feet 7 inches tall. The other was described at the time as using the aliases “Demonio" or "Pato," and was dark-complected, 17 to 20 years of age, and about 5 feet 11 inches tall with a thin build. As of this posting, Harris County’s court records database shows that Cesar has an active warrant and is not in custody. Cesar was born in the United States but no potential whereabouts have been publicized in the event that he fled Houston.

Additional Details:

Anyone with information on Cesar’s whereabouts, or the identity of the other two outstanding suspects should contact Crime Stoppers Of Houston at 713-222-TIPS (8477). Cesar and the other two outstanding suspects should be considered extremely dangerous. Please consider sharing this so that Adrian and Paulina’s families can get justice and answers in their loved one’s cases. At the time of the double homicide, investigators thought that Paulina might have been a participant in the botched robbery and was shot accidentally. Since she was murdered, any potential liability she may have had in the crime no longer applies. The only people who should be blamed for this crime are the three men who shot both Adrian and Paulina.
