Authorities allege that Jose ran after Emmanuel in a parking lot and shot him to death. Jose was reportedly seen on surveillance video throwing his firearm into a dumpster after the homicide. If a motive is known, it has not been publicized by law enforcement. Nearly a year later, in March of 2023, a homicide warrant was issued for Jose’s arrest. Jose is also wanted for unrelated drug delivery charges. As of this posting, Pennsylvania’s court records database shows that Jose’s homicide case has no disposition and no docket entries since charges were filed in 2023. This confirms that Jose is unfortunately still at large.
