Summary:
On 11-04-2023, CARLOS POSANTES shot and killed his roommate at their shared residence in Lewisville. POSANTES then secreted his victim in the backyard, where the victim was discovered a couple of days later. POSANTES fled the residence in his vehicle, which was abandoned about 45 miles away that same night. POSANTES left behind his cell phone and bank cards, and his bank activity has been non-existent since the offense. He was sighted south of the Austin, Texas area about May 2024.
