Summary:
Fredy Escamilla-Lopez is wanted for the homicide of his 19-month-old daughter, Maya Escamilla. Authorities allege that Fredy was driving recklessly with Maya in his lap and another young child in the front passenger seat. Fredy allegedly crashed his vehicle into a block wall, and his body crushed Maya’s small body against the steering wheel. Fredy was driven to the home of the children’s mother where he dropped the children off and fled. Maya would later tragically die from her injuries.
