Summary:
On December 5, 2023, the body of 46 year old Rory Sean Thacker was found dead at his home in the 8000 block of Hunnicut Rd, southeast of the intersection of Ferguson Rd and Highland Rd. In a March 4, 2024 news release, Dallas police said the Dallas County medical examiner’s office in February 2024 ruled Thacker “died from homicidal violence,” and that the department’s homicide unit had been assigned to the case. The department had been investigating the incident as an “unexplained death."
