Summary:
Haley Cheney was found shot in her vehicle at her boyfriend's residence following a disturbance between Haley and her son's father/his family about not giving her young son back to her. Her boyfriend had text her mother to ask for assistance with her daughter as reportedly she had been drinking heavily. Haley's mom made the hour long drive to his home and found Haley's car outside the residence with the door open and her daughter covered in blood inside. She was still breathing but unresponsive.

Circumstances of Death:
On December 3rd, 2023, around 1am, police were dispatched to a shooting call in Denton, TX. Officers were notified by the caller that his brother's girlfriend had shot herself in the head. They were then notified that the victims family had just arrived on scene and located her. She was transported to the hospital where she died from her injuries at 5:48am. No gun shot residue testing was completed and police ruled her death as a suicide.
