Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Offense:

Authorities allege that Juan stabbed Veronica approximately fifty times. Veronica’s daughter discovered her body when she could not get in touch with her. Authorities say that Juan had been cheating on his wife, blamed her for everything and became violent when he came home and when his food was cold. Veronica and her daughter did not like to talk about Juan. The abusive relationship opened a rift in the family. Juan is believed to have fled to the San Antonio, Texas and then possibly fled to Mexico. As of this posting, the Harris County court records database confirms that he has an active warrant and is not in custody.
