Authorities say that Jose lured Angel to their formerly shared home so that she could pick up their belongings. Jose was in a van, awaiting her arrival. When she arrived, Jose got out and allegedly shot her to death. Jose is still at large, as of a 01/29/2025 news article where Angel’s daughter was interviewed. Jose has ties to Columbus, Ohio; New York City and Puerto Rico.
