Summary:
Cesar Raudales-Macias is wanted for the vehicular homicide of 23-year-old Beth Buchanan.
Vital Statistics
Circumstances of Offense:
Beth was driving her mother to the airport when Cesar allegedly drove directly towards them. Cesar, whose vehicle did not have working headlights, crashed head on into Beth’s vehicle. Tragically, Beth who was pursuing a PhD in Psychology was killed and her mother was seriously injured. Her mother had to spend several weeks in the hospital, including one week in the ICU. Cesar was also hospitalized as a result of the DUI crash that he allegedly caused. He somehow managed to leave the hospital before the Sheriff’s Office could arrest him. Warrants for first-degree vehicular homicide, serious injury by vehicle, DUI-alcohol among other charges have been issued for Cesar’s arrest. In February of 2024, he was indicted by a grand jury on those charges. As of this posting, Cesar’s case in Barrow County’s court records database is in open status with no arrest date, disposition or proceedings since the indictment. This confirms that he is still at large. The US Marshals Service is also involved in this investigation. As of March of 2024, they were offering an additional $5000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
Additional Details:
Anyone with information on Cesar’s whereabouts should contact Crime Stoppers Of Greater Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS(8477) or the US Marshals Service Communication Center at 1-877-WANTED-2. Cesar should be considered very dangerous. Please consider sharing this so that Beth’s family, especially her mother, can get justice and answers in their loved one’s case.
