Authorities allege that Malachi and two co-defendants shot Benjamin to death while the victim was in a vehicle. Pennsylvania’s court records database also lists a criminal conspiracy charge for Malachi. While the motive for the crime has not been publicized, the conspiracy charge would indicate that Benjamin’s homicide was premeditated. Malachi remains at large, according to news articles and a US Marshals press release from 05/23/25. Malachi has ties to Bronx, New York along with Lackawanna and Luzerne counties in Pennsylvania.
