Authorities say that Luis was driving when he allegedly tried to run a red light at a high rate of speed. His pickup truck collided with a vehicle that Ethan and Julian were in. They had the green light at the intersection. Both Ethan and Julian were tragically killed as a result of the impact. Luis fled the scene and as of this posting (June 4, 2025), has a warrant flag in Las Vegas’s court records database. This confirms that he is still at large. He is wanted on warrants for two counts of duty to stop at the scene of an accident resulting in death and two counts of reckless driving resulting in death.
