Summary:
Gemmiti had only been to the family cabin in Ossipee twice before. She took a walk one Friday morning and never came home. She was visiting the state from Florida for a reunion. Since she disappeared, the family has done all it can to bring her home. Mailers have been sent to every home in the region, a billboard has been put up on Route 16 and a $5,000 reward is being offered.

Circumstances of Disappearance:
66-year-old Carol Gemmiti went for a walk in Ossipee and never returned home. Family members and police said they are still searching for clues about what happened to her.
Additional Details:
Police said they have exhausted all leads, but tips are still coming in. Investigators have searched the bay by the home, asked property owners to scour their land and asked hunters to keep an eye out. Gemmiti was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a sweater earlier today, September 27, 2024, at approximately 11 a.m. walking in the area of 48 Bay Point Road in Ossipee. Family members advise she suffers from dementia. Anyone who sees Gemmiti or has information about her whereabouts should notify the Ossipee Police Department at (603) 539-2284.
