Stacey Lee Drake is a wanted fugitive for three counts of murder. He was last spotted outside of a motel in Morrilton, Arkansas. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is leading the murder investigation and the Arkansas State Police (ASP) are actively hunting for Drake after his recent sighting in Arkansas. Circumstances of Offense:
Drake has active warrants for his arrest for multiple counts of murder. Deputies with the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office in Oklahoma responded to a business near State Highway 64 and South 4670 Road on Tuesday evening, where they found a deceased male and female. Drake was identified as a suspect in the offenses and the OSBI assisted in the investigation. It was learned Drake stole a car which was found in Morrilton, Arkansas (about an hour outside of Little Rock, AR) on 6/18/24. Drake is separately wanted on robbery, carjacking, and murder charges for incidents in other jurisdictions.
Additional Details:
Drake’s last known address was in Birmingham, Alabama. Drake purchased camping gear and is believed to be in Arkansas still. Drake was a suspect in a Fort Smith home invasion in 2010, (Source: Danny Baker, police chief). Drake has ties to the homeless community in Fort Smith.
