Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Disappearance:

On March 9, 2024, Shayna Feinman was last seen on the 40-acre property located halfway between Seligman and Peach Springs, Arizona, where she had been living with her significant other and several others. Around 5:30 pm, Shayna was last seen leaving the property and walking into the woods. One witness said she walked into the woods following an argument with the property owner. Another witness said she was chased into the woods. A week later one of Shayna's friends, who was watching her dog, filed a missing person's report with the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office after she failed to return. Her camping gear, wallet, and passport were found inside her vehicle on the property. Her cell phone was later recovered on a nearby property. Her car, dog, camping gear, and wallet were all left behind.

Additional Details:

On August 29, 2024, two men were arrested in connection with the alleged murder of missing Arizona woman Shayna Feinman. Cavett Jack Richards, 36, was charged on Wednesday with second-degree murder, conspiracy and concealing a dead body, involving his girlfriend, Shayna Feinman, 35. William Thomas DalCerro, 58, faces charges for his alleged involvement in Feinman's death. DalCerro owned the property where Feinman and Richards had been living. Authorities initially booked Richards and DalCerro into the Yavapai County Jail in April on weapons violations and charges of tampering with evidence and possession of a stolen vehicle as they gathered evidence in Feinman's disappearance and presumed death before adding the charges in the Feinman case this week. According to court records, the murder charges against both men were dismissed in January 2025, yet the case remained an active priority for Arizona law enforcement. According to Kara Feinman, Shayna's sister, Shayna told friends she was fearful for her safety, and shortly before her disappearance had gotten into an argument with DalCerro. Feinman reportedly left voicemails and text messages before her disappearance saying she was not feeling safe and was scared, according to her sister. In October 2026, Facebook posts claimed that Shayna Feinman has been found in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, but the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office released a statement confirming that the individual located is not Shayna Feinman. Feinman's family said they have been through the same situation at least a dozen times since she went missing. Feinman, who is originally from New York and moved to Arizona a few years ago, disappeared on March 9 from the Peach Springs/Hyde Park area near Seligman, Arizona.
