Summary:
16 year old, Hydi Cain vanished on the morning of Jan. 7, 2024 after leaving her Georgia home wearing nothing but her pajamas and a sweatshirt following a suspected mental breakdown.
Vital Statistics
Circumstances of Disappearance:
According to Hydi’s mother, the two had been talking about Hydi’s recent life decisions that evening, but it never turned into an argument. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary when Hydi told her mother she was going to bed shortly before midnight. About 20 minutes later, Hydi’s mother heard her yelling at someone while on her Macbook before fleeing home with her mother’s car keys. Realizing she had the car keys, her mother ran out and pulled the keys out of the car before Hydi was able to drive away. Her mother was able to stop the car, but Hydi jumped out and ran away, wearing only pajamas and no shoes. Hydi hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
