Summary:
The personal trainer, who had been working in Kingaroy, was last seen with a friend on October 4 at Ficks Crossing, near the town of Murgon, three hours north-west of Brisbane. He was reported missing by his family the next day.

Circumstances of Disappearance:
His mother Kellie Moody said the disappearance of her son, who she described as magnetic and a light-hearted soul, was distressing. Ms Moody said the weekend he went missing was meant to be a boy's weekend. "They were just having fun," she said. "There was a swing on the water, they were having a few drinks, just really being boys." Police, State Emergency Service volunteers and officers from specialist teams, including the dog and dive squads, have been searching an area west of Murgon for two weeks.
Additional Details:
So far, a hat and pair of shoes believed to belong to the Sunshine Coast man have been located near Ficks Crossing and in Murgon, but nothing else. Police have also released CCTV vision of Mr McLennan walking into a bottle shop in Murgon, in which he can be seen talking to the shop attendant and giving her a thumbs up
