Last location is Baxter, TN...please see forums. Car was repossessed in Terrell. Sammy was very attached to his son and two steps he has raised. The detective told a family member, the estranged wife who left Sammy and moved back in as a friend has done nothing but lie and was seeing someone else, is the last person to have seen Sammy. He posted on his social media daily; he hasn't touched it since that day. He has not used his social security number for any reason no arrest record mental health or drug history. They have not pinged his phone, last location, or checked his call logs. They said it took so long to get someone to take the report that any footage there may have been on cams where the car was repossessed is gone.

Original post made for Sammy included below: Sammy O'Neil Garcia, also known as Sammy Thurmond, is missing from Baxter, TN. He has not been in contact with his family since March 2025. His family was recently told that he came home from work in April, then left to go to the store and never returned. At the time of his disappearance, he was working as an Amazon delivery driver in Lebanon, TN. His car was found somewhere in Texas, but at this time, I do not have any details on the date or exact location. His brother has posted that before this year, Sammy never missed holidays with his loved ones. It is also noted that his family was never contacted about his failure to return home in April.
