"He started laughing and said 'I killed that motherfucker and put his ass in the dirt.' And he hung up, and I immediately called the police. Gave them the phone number. He was already wanted by the time we got to the police station the next morning because this was a Friday evening, I believe, and they already knew who he was," his mother said.
