On Monday, Dec. 22, 2025, at approximately 12:17 p.m. Officers responding to a call at 4200 Torresdale Ave. and discovered 20-year-old David Garcia-Morales inside a 2017 Ford F-450 Super Duty towing vehicle. Garcia-Morales, who had been shot in the neck and thigh, was transported to Temple University Hospital but succumbed to his injuries on Dec. 26, 2025

David Garcia-Morales, 20, worked for the same towing company (448 Towing & Recovery) as Aaron Whitfield, Jr. who was also killed three weeks later (January 11, 2026) according to law enforcement sources.

Additional Details:

The Philadelphia Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 27 year-old Najee Williams, who is wanted in connection with two separate homicides involving tow truck drivers, David Garcia-Morales in December, 2025, and Aaron Whitfield, Jr. in January, 2026 and his girlfriend who suffered multiple gunshot wounds but survived.
