Thomas "Duncan" Callens, a 38-year-old white male standing 5'7" and weighing 175 lbs, disappeared on January 7, 2025, from Corinth, Mississippi after leaving a residence on Mathis Road in the early morning hours. He walked into Old Bull Market convenience store where the clerk provided him with a black coat and t-shirt, and he left the store around 5:40 a.m. A man believed to be Duncan was seen walking towards Pickwick, Tennessee around 10:30 a.m., but this sighting was never confirmed, and he did not meet his brother for their planned duck hunting trip.

Callens was at his girlfriend's home on Mathis Road before walking to the convenience store, and the two reportedly got into an argument, which led to his walk to the store that morning. At 5:40 a.m. on January 7, 2025, Thomas "Duncan" Callens was captured on surveillance video at the Old Bull Market located at 3107 Hwy 72 West, across from the Morris Crum Tire Center in Corinth, Mississippi. At the time, Callens was not properly dressed to keep warm in the weather conditions Corinth was experiencing that morning. The store clerk gave Callens a jacket and a t-shirt, and also charged Callens' phone for about ten minutes before he left. Callens left the store on foot about 10 minutes later, and hasn't been seen since. Around 10:30 a.m., a man who was believed to be Duncan was seen walking towards Pickwick, TN, but from there, where he went or what happened remains unknown.
Additional Details:
He was supposed to go duck hunting with family that day but never showed up. He was reported missing the following day after they couldn't contact him. His vehicle was found still parked at his girlfriend's house. Searches were performed by law enforcement and community members, but no sign of Callens was found. Searches were performed by law enforcement and civilians but the snow in the area at the time made thorough searches difficult. No sign of Callens was found during the searches. Over time, several people have reported seeing him in places across the state, but none of the sightings have been confirmed. Callens' brother, Sidney Shadburn, has been continuing the search for Callens and is offering a $5,000 reward for his return. Thomas "Duncan" Callens is from Maryville, Tennessee.
