Summary:

Shaheed Mincy is wanted for the homicide of Maher Salti.

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Offense:

Authorities say that Maher had sold his IPad on Facebook Marketplace and had agreed to meet up with the buyer at a gas station. Unfortunately, text messages showed that the buyer had planned to rob Maher. Once they met at the gas station, authorities allege that Shaheed shot Maher to death and stole the IPad. Shaheed’s cell phone was found at the crime scene and evidence on it quickly led to an arrest warrant being issued. As of this posting, Shaheed’s aggravated murder case in Cuyahoga County’s court records database shows no arrest date, disposition or events since he was indicted in May. This confirms that he is still a fugitive. Authorities are also trying to identify a second suspect they believe was involved in Maher’s homicide. The image of this suspect has been provided as photo #3.

Additional Details:

Anyone with information on Shaheed’s whereabouts (or the identity of the second suspect) should contact Crime Stoppers Of Cuyahoga County at (216) 252-7463 or the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED or www.usmarshals.gov/what-we-do/fugitive-investigations/submitting-a-tip. Shaheed should be considered very dangerous. Please consider sharing this so that Maher’s family can get justice and answers in their loved one’s case.
