Tips that reach the right detective
Someone out there knows something. An organized case page gives them a place to say it. Every tip submitted on the page goes straight to the investigating agency through Badge Apps Tips, where it is assigned, tracked and answered, even when the tipster stays anonymous. You do not have to be the middle person, and nothing gets lost in a message inbox.
How tips flow
- Name the agency and, if you know it, the lead detective on the case. We help find the detective if no one is listed.
- Anyone with information uses the Submit a Tip button on the page. Anonymous tipsters get a reference code so the detective can reply.
- The tip lands in the agency's Badge Apps Tips queue, where every tip is accounted for and discovery ready.
- Theories and questions from the public go to the case discussion instead, so the detective's queue only holds real information.
Every case page also has share buttons and a printable flyer, so the people most likely to know something actually see it.

You do not have to be a tech person. Penny is our AI assistant: you give her a name and a few basic facts, and she searches public records and news coverage to draft the page for you.
