Summary:

Juan Garcia-Diaz is wanted for the homicide of his girlfriend, 19-year-old Melina Fuentes De Rosas. Melina was last seen alive with Juan at a restaurant. Authorities allege that Juan strangled Melina to death. Her body was found in her mother’s car, submerged in a canal. Juan was initially interviewed and had scratches on his face. By the time a warrant was issued for his arrest, he had fled.

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Offense:

As of this posting, Melina’s case is on the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Help Solve A Case website. Juan also has an active Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution case in PACER. The public federal court records show that in 2006, Melina’s family gave investigators an address in Guerrero, Mexico where Juan was believed to be. It appears that Juan has since left that specific address and his current location is not known.

Additional Details:

Anyone with information on Juan’s whereabouts should contact Silent Witness (to qualify for the potential reward) at 1-800-343-TIPS (8477). Juan should be considered very dangerous. Please consider sharing this, so that Melina’s family can get justice and answers in their loved one’s case.
