On February 4, 2010, suspect Amilkar Antonio Caro, allegedly shot and killed 29-year-old Hugo Navarro-Alviso outside of his home in the 700 block of Adams Street. Caro reportedly followed an ex-girlfriend to the residence, waited for her to leave, then murdered Hugo. The Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office issued an arrest warrant for First Degree Murder for Caro. Caro may have fled to Mexico, but his current whereabouts are unknown.
