Tucson police and firefighters found the body of Jennifer Ann Wilson, 50, in a northside alley Sept. 17, 2017. The woman had suffered trauma, Tucson police said in a news release. Her body was found in an alley south of Navajo Road and west of Fontana Avenue around 2:30 p.m after a 911 call. Homicide detectives are investigating her death.

Circumstances of Offense:

On September 17, 2017, around 2:30 p.m., officers from Operations Division West and members from the Tucson Fire Department responded to a 911 call reference a check welfare on a female in the alley south of Navajo Rd. and west of Fontana Ave. Upon arrival, they located a Caucasian female in her fifties with apparent trauma. She was pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives from the Tucson Police Department Homicide Unit responded to the scene to continue the investigation. The investigation is in the early stages and an autopsy will be performed this week to determine cause and manner of death. Detectives are requesting anyone with information related to this incident to please call 911 or 88-Crime (you can remain anonymous).
