Summary:

Peter Lian is wanted for the homicide of his estranged wife, Khuang Par, and for desertion from the US military.

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Offense:

Prior to the homicide, Khuang had been granted a protection order against Peter for a domestic violence incident while they were living in Colorado. The argument was over Khuang wanting to move to Indianapolis where she had family. Peter had choked his wife during the argument and threatened to kill her in her native language of Burmese. Khuang did end up going to Indianapolis, but Peter followed her. Authorities allege that Peter murdered Khuang from trauma to her neck. He then allegedly stuffed her body in a suitcase and threw it into a trash dumpster. It is believed that Peter fled to Thailand right after the homicide. He is originally from Myanmar (formerly Burma). As of this posting, his murder case in Indiana’s court records database has a warrant flag. This confirms that he is unfortunately still at large.

Additional Details:

Anyone with information on Peter’s whereabouts should contact Crime Stoppers Of Central Indiana at 317-262-TIPS (8477) or 800-222-TIPS (8477). Peter should be considered very dangerous. Please consider sharing this so that Khuang’s family can get justice and answers in their loved one’s case.
